Happy New Year 2007 to all the people out there! 2006 was a busy busy year, a lot of things happend but the most important - we are still alive and kicking. And still making websites. My 2006 in a simple list(in order of appearance):

• Finished one of the biggest projects I ever had recently(Feb 06)
• Leaving(almost) the freelance field to join full-time the wonderful Weblancers team. Great people, tough projects, a lot of things learned.(Mar 06)
• First big vacation for the last 3 years(2 full weeks; one at the sea, one at the mountains), combined with a Whitesnake concert in Kavarna. Amazing time shared with a couple of friends, a lot of fun and beer(of course!). I visited some places I haven't been there for 20 years(really)(Jul - Aug 06)
• Changed the job again(2 times in one year) and join full-time Logical Performance, Inc. on a position Web Developer / Web Designer / Technology Expert. I've worked with the team on a couple of projects on a freelance base for 2+ years but now it was time to move forward. I'm really happy I did this choice. I never felt so sure in my life that I'm doing the right thing. I really missed the Weblancers team but it was the time to make important decision which will reflect to my entire life.
  Now I'm a part of a team which helps people to grow their business inside and out(hi, Jon!) where I have the opportunity to experiment with various technologies and to promote the Web Standards.(Nov 06)
• Finally, the year ended with some other important decisions(I'll keep you informed) and with a great New Year party at our house. Nice people, good food + drinks + music, a BBQ on the balcony(I was the Master of the BBQ), unplugged(electric+acoustic guitar)...

Nothing much to say for 2006.

These are the things I'm planing for the year 2007(it is not a NYR but close):

• Get a driver's license(finally!)
• Sports, sports, sports(jogging, skating, table tennis, body building(?))
• Get a new guitar
• Learn more guitar stuff from the greatest guitar masters
• Get some fancy hi-tech gadgets
• Spend more time with my family
• More traveling and especially outside Bulgaria(yeah!)
• Learn more things in general about web development and design
• Make a redesign / rebuild of this very site
• Self training my mind and body

I think it is a long list for one year but you gotta have faith. Sounds like a wish lists with Christmas presents but who knows - time will tell!
