New section appears today on this website. It is simply called Lab! I think that it is great to have the chance to experiment and to show this experiments to the audience.

This new section was on my mind from months. Well, it is almost empty now(there is only 1 experiment) but soon it won't be! If you are interested in my experiments - stay tuned and expect more of them!

The most changing section of this website, without any doubt, is the blog. All starts almost a 2 years ago when I decide to study how does the web publishing really works. After many different types of text publishing tools I wrote(all of them using PHP/MySQL), I decide to make one "compilation" of the best chunks of code from every tool.

Maybe you will ask why do discard WordPress, TextPattern and other popular blog systems. Well, the systems I mention are really cool! But I want to build my own. So...

In the beginning there was only one page that displays all entries. Cool!, I thought. But I need more features... Slightly came up the browse by months, permanent links and so. Here is a list of all the features which my simple blog system supports:

• display entries(no kidding!)
• browse by year/month/day
• permanent link to an entry
• some MOD_REWRITE
• displaying a part of the entry on the main page and the whole entry on Permanent link
• browse by category

The development of this system continues and I've got my own TODO list(hm, it is good idea to post it here because I will forgot what else I have to do...):

• search in the blog entries
• tagging
• user comments
