Designing With Web Standards
Finally, I got it! Jeffrey Zeldman's "Designing With Web Standards" book is in my hands now.
I was wondering to purchase this book from Amazon or another online shop but my secret dream was to have this book in Bulgarian one day(well, the English is not a problem but every web developer from any country of the world would like to read this book on his mother tongue, right?). And my dream came true a week ago when I found this book on the website of the official publisher for Bulgaria - Soft Press. So, yesterday, I ran off to the Helikon book store and get it(together with Rasmus Lerdorf's PHP Pocket Reference)! Now I'm happy!
Two thumbs up! read more

Cheat sheets
This man(who obviously loves "Jack Daniels") surprises me again with a new episode of his series "Cheat sheets". This time it is MOD_REWRITE cheat sheet. David Child(a.k.a. ILoveJackDaniels) made 3 more cheat sheets which every web developer must have(my opinion!) printed and putted on his desk. Here is a full list of all the cheat sheets: read more

Hail in Plovdiv
People, this afternoon the sky was really angry! I haven't seen such a hail like today's for a while.
I was walking in the park this afternoon, near the apartment where I live. I saw the grey-blue-orange clouds before I leave home but I thought "Hm, maybe it will be raining soon!". In less than half an hour, I've decided to get back home(because I can forecast the weather).
The first raindrops started to fall when I was entering the front door of my home. And then the real show began(like I was watching Discovery Channel). My digital camera was on 2 steps behind me. So, I grab it and took some pictures. You can check them in my Flickr account. It was a little bit scary but everything stops in just a few minutes. Only the photos remained after this storm. read more

My new skin(May 5th Reboot)
Blue again. With almost 4 months delay the new redesign is ready.
I've subscribed for a May 1st Reboot contest but obviously I didn't make it. So, I decide to make my own reboot. It is called 555 Reboot(or May 5th Reboot). The idea for the name is taken from the reboot date - May 5th, 2005. It is something like 666 but with just 111 less.
As you maybe noticed, most of the sections are changed(content) and some of them - removed("Photos" for example). You must expect more changes in the close future - "Portfolio" section with project details, contacts live form in "Contacts"...
Well, enjoy the new skin and "May the open source be with you!". read more
